I don’t get this holiday!
Okay I know the Christian belief, the cross, the tomb, the rising again.
What I don’t get is the chocolate eggs, the bunny, egg hunt. Why does a man sized bunny sneek around leaving hidden chocolate eggs? I mean really? A giant rabbit? I don’t even understand why kids believe this. Even more why they aren’t petrified by it. I get Santa, at least he was based a little bit on real stories. But I don’t know a real story that a chocolate hiding bunny would be based on. Is there a truth behind the tail?
I am the rotten egg to easter as Scoorge is to Christmas. Phewie. It is my least favorite holiday followed closely by Valentines but at least that has cinnoman hearts.
