I am thankful to have been blessed with an amazing mother in law. She is si loving and helpful and always goes above and beyond. On Tuesday I had an eye doctors appointment. While at the appointment I had to have the eye drops that make the eyes dilate.  She lovingly drove me to the  appointment, watched Aly while I was there and then helped me get home when I could barely see. II a so thankful she was there and was so caring. She is truly a blessing to those who love her and know her.

I am thankful to be finally caught up and back to routine. Cameron was not pleased at the return to school but I am still thankful for the return to routine and to getting things on track. Whenever there is a big holiday for the kids (March break, summer break, Christmas holidays) I find that the break in routine is hard for my kids and that they find it difficult changing gears and then changing back again. I am happy to say that this March break went much better the previous holidays but I am still thankful to return to the routine that goes along with school.

I am thankful for a day of rest. Over the March break I had a great time with the kids but on Sunday we stayed home (other then me going on a quick trip to the grocery store) and had a relaxing day to try and prepare ourselves for the return to school. I really enjoyed just relaxing and not being in a rush.

I am thankful for our little mini family vacation. Rob had to go to Sudbury for work during March break so the kids and I decided to tag along. On Friday the kids and I went for a  walk, went swimming, drove around some of Sudbury (mostly because we were lost), and spent a good part of the day hanging out in our hotel room watching T.V.. The kids loved it and it was so much fun watching them enjoy their holiday. I am thankful that we were able to go on this little adventure with daddy.

I am thankful for the parenting group that I attend. It is a great group of parents who are very supportive. It is also a great chance to share thoughts and seek advice on issues we all faces as parents. I am thankful for the chance it gives me to relax and to feel normal.

I am thankful for a day home. Wednesday of March break was the ONLY day we spent at home. We had a very busy week and the Wednesday was a nice break. A break I very much needed and am thankful for.

I am thankful for community support groups like Durham Behavioural Management. They have been amazingly helpful. They have given me ideas, help set up plans and put them into action., they have taught me and just generally helped me to face and deal with some of the struggles I have faced raising my children. I am so thankful for their support.

Okay so I am really far behind. March break started and got the best of me. We were so busy that I hardly got a moment to breath et aone blog so I am going to do a little bit of catch up.

So for #154 I am thankful for time with Hailie and Mia, 2 of my beautiful little nieces and for how close they are with my 3 kids. It is so wonderful to have spent the Monday of March break watching the 5 kids run around my house having a great time. Playing dress up, building things, laughing and just generally having a great time. It is these moments that I hope my kids one day look back at and treasure and remember the love of family.
