We took Aly to her appointment today with the Neurosurgeon at Sick Kids. I am a little confused of the details but the final word was that he isn’t concerned that they abnormal shape of her head is causing any damage to her brain. He said that it is solely cosmetic and not a worry. We will have to take Aly back for a follow up in 3 months to make sure nothing has changed but he doesn’t think it will be an issue. He said that if we are concerned with the look of her head that we could have her fit with a special helmet to help reshape it to make it look more normal but that it’s our choice. We have been talking about but haven’t decided weather or not we want to do it, but we have some time to make our decision. The good thing is she won’t need surgery to correct it.<\/p>\n
That is a big weight off of my mind. Next up tomorrow is Nate’s check up with his surgeon at Sick Kids and just in time. All day today Nate has been running a fever of about 103.<\/p>\n
